Fallout 76 … ;)

Anyone who’s played this game has known frustration 🙂 For a couple months there I was able to travel its terrain only because I was using my love for F4 as fuel. The food/water mechanic was a mosquito in my ear, the Atomic Shop almost mockingly expensive, the lack of world depth palpable, and PVP-based destruction of my camp just maddening.

I can tell Bethesda have put a lot of work into it. I’m also just fine hating the mAcrotransaction hit to my devotion to the company. Gryt and I had both hoped it would be a long-awaited chance for us and two of our friends to reunite a character team that dates back to City of Heroes! But after several frustrating evenings trying to even BEGIN a mission through all the whack-a-mole housekeeping, our friends couldn’t stomach it anymore. C’est la vie. They’re sane. Looks hopefully at Anthem…looks away

😉 Having SAID that. To get me interested in a game you have to let me customize my character, and Fallout 76 offers that in spades. Gryt and I recreated our namesakes and as Bethesda continue to tweak things the game has gotten more enjoyable, and we (sometimes!) have a great time running around. And we’re both into making our CAMP’s cool.

Therefore I present to you!: our characters, and the homes they live in.

Headshots, field gear, and stats:

Homes. Might add a few interior shots to these

Seraff’s house. He met the Mothman once. They had a long conversation.
Grytviken’s house. A study in postapocalyptic asian/midmodern fushion (get it?)
Camps are here, under the New River Gorge Bridge, in the Forest. Come say Hi!
